A door and shutters I found while exploring Tafraoute.

The Tuaregs in Morocco hold close to the belief that the color blue represents infinity. The unlimiting space of the sky lives in this hue.
Approaching the aqua doors I spied on the road out of Agadir, I saw that bit of symbolism in the wooden blue boundary between the flaming desert and the warmth of home. Ridiculously far from camouflaged in its reddish, sandy surroundings, I wanted to push it ajar in hopes to peek in and see the unlimited opportunities that lay waiting for me. A door isn’t a barrier when it’s open. The blue eyes of the house were above on my right watching me guardedly as I pondered the desire. I was a stranger in this country and even more a stranger to what my future holds. I decided to leave it closed for now and just enjoy what I saw.
